This is Virginia (Jini) Poole. She was one of two Assistant Casting Directors for Jaws, and had lots of great stories to tell.

In the film, that 'old man of the sea' who comes out smoking his pipe at the dock, is her father-in-law. We briefly met his son, Jini's husband.

Here is the full Jini Poole interview:

Here are some video stills of Jeffrey Voorhees , who played the unfortunate Alex Kintner. Today, Jeffrey today manages The Wharf, where we shot his interview.

The film crew at The Wharf. A few of us ordered the Alex Kintner burger while we waited for Jeffrey to get a free moment.

We next interviewed Carol Fligor, who witnessed a lot of the filming with her kids. Seen only briefly in the beach scenes as an extra, Carol also took pictures, and watched a lot of the Orca shooting. She is also the shooter/owner of the now famous 8mm home movies, which we take credit in dicovering!

Martin Brody comes out of his house and goes to work.

Like starry eyed weirdos, we walked up to the house and knocked on the door. An old woman wearing a bath robe came out, and said, "Oh, you want to see the Jaws house. You can take pictures, but please stay off the property."

Comparing this movie still to the picture in taken 2000, the main difference is a brown paint job, and the fence near the door has been fixed up.

Here are some screen stills from scene on the back porch of the
Brody house.

Here is our Day 2 B-Roll of location footage:

Brody is not pleased that his son is in his boat on the Water. Below, that dock has hardly changed at all, including that seemingly useless pole in the Water out beyond the pier.

Brody uses the crosswalk at the corner of Water St. and Main.
A little later, Mayor Vaughn approaches Hendricks in the middle of the street with the marching band. Below, the same location, 25 years later.
